Hypnobirthing teaches you how your thoughts affect your body during labour using visualisations, breathing techniques and positive affirmations. You'll learn breathing exercises to support you during each stage of labour, and gain knowledge and information about pregnancy and birth that you're unlikely to be told elsewhere. Your birth partner or partners play a key role and will learn how to support you confidently throughout the process.
The service extends beyond the course itself. Your Hypnobirthing Teachers provide support throughout your pregnancy and postnatally, ensuring you're not left without guidance once your sessions end. They also offer pregnancy and postnatal acupuncture as complementary support.
