About Westwood Karate Academy
Westwood Karate Academy teaches traditional Shotokan karate to children and adults of all ages from age 4 onwards. The academy is affiliated and licensed with Traditional Shotokan Karate U.K. (TSKUK) and the World Union of Karate Federations (WUKF), ensuring instruction meets established standards.
The academy offers structured karate classes across all age groups and abilities. Young children aged 4 to 6 years begin their training through the Tiger Tots programme, while junior students progress through coloured belt grades towards black belt achievement. Cadet and adult classes welcome beginners through to advanced practitioners, with regular belt gradings available to help students work towards specific goals.
Beyond regular classes, Westwood Karate Academy provides private one-to-one tuition available both online and in person, allowing for personalised instruction tailored to individual needs.
