About Wendy Austin SALT
Wendy Austin SALT is a speech and language therapist and ADHD coach registered with the HCPC and a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and the Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice.
She offers evidence-based speech and language therapy for children, addressing speech delay, speech sound difficulties, language difficulties, dysfluency and social communication difficulties including autism. For adults, she provides person-centred therapy for acquired communication difficulties such as aphasia, apraxia and dysarthria.
In addition to therapy services, Wendy offers ADHD coaching for adults. Using an Executive Functioning Framework, she helps clients understand their own unique symptoms, skills and challenges to develop practical strategies tailored to their needs.
Wendy's training includes Makaton levels 1–4 and ELKLAN training in supporting pupils with severe learning difficulties, enabling her to work with a wide range of communication needs across the lifespan.
