Tom is a qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist who works in private practice. He is accredited with both the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling (FPC), ensuring his work meets recognised professional standards.
Therapy is offered flexibly to suit your needs. You can choose ongoing weekly sessions for continuous support, or opt for time-limited therapy structured over 14 sessions if you prefer a defined timeframe. Tom's approach is non-directive, giving you the freedom to establish your own pace and explore whatever feels most important to you.
The first session is an opportunity to meet and discuss what brings you to therapy. It is not uncommon to feel apprehensive about starting, and Tom creates a thoughtful, confidential space where you can begin at your own comfort level.
