About The Kung Fu School
The Kung Fu School offers traditional martial arts and movement classes for adults and beginners. The school teaches traditional Seven Star Praying Mantis Kung Fu as taught by Grand Master Lee Kam Wing, alongside Yang Family Tai Chi, Qigong, and Aerobics classes. Weekly beginners classes in Yang Tai Chi are available, and the school also offers instruction in Tai Chi weapons including straight sword, sabre, and fan, as well as Push Hands training. For those interested in conditioning and deeper practice, specialised training in techniques such as Wooden Man, Sand Bag, and Iron Sand Palm is available.
Private tuition can be arranged for those seeking one-to-one instruction. Beyond classes, the school maintains a strong lion dance team that performs throughout the UK, bringing traditional performance arts to the community.
The Kung Fu School is the Nottingham branch of the International Taijiquan & Shaolin Wushu Association and is affiliated to the Lee Kam Wing Martial Arts Sports Association.
