About The Elite Academy of Dance
The Elite Academy of Dance offers a range of dance and movement classes for all ages and abilities. Children's recreational classes follow the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) syllabus and include Classical Ballet, Tap, Modern, Acrobatic Arts, and Musical Theatre. The academy also runs Silver Swans® ballet classes, a programme developed by the Royal Academy of Dance specifically designed for older learners seeking an active, engaging way to stay fit.

Frequently asked questions
What dance styles do you offer for children?
We offer Classical Ballet, Tap, Modern, Acrobatic Arts, and Musical Theatre classes for children, all following the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) syllabus for our recreational classes. We also incorporate Progressing Ballet Technique into our training from grade 2 onwards.
Do you have classes for older adults?
Yes, we offer Silver Swans® ballet classes, which are specifically designed for older learners and developed by the Royal Academy of Dance based on research into dance practice for this age group. Our Silver Swans® Licensees are trained to teach these specialised classes.
What qualifications and standards do your classes follow?
Our children's recreational Classical Ballet, Tap & Modern classes follow the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) syllabus. Additionally, from September 2026, Lincolnshire Ballet Associates will be a Royal Ballet School Affiliate Programme for both junior and mid associates.
Do you offer yoga classes?
Yes, we offer Yoga Classes as part of our Fitness & Movement services.
