About The Body Aware Studio

The Body Aware Studio specialises in somatic movement and Pilates, offering a range of approaches tailored to individual needs and goals. The studio teaches Somatic Movement Class, Body-Mind Centering, and the Feldenkrais Method alongside Pilates in various formats.

Pilates is available as private one-to-one sessions, shared two-person sessions, and open studio classes limited to a maximum of five clients with similar needs. All Pilates sessions are taught on an appointment basis. For those preferring remote access, Zoom sessions are available.

Somatic Movement Education is offered as one-to-one sessions in 85-minute blocks, drawing on modalities including Hanna Somatics, Bartenieff Fundamentals, and Body-Mind Centering. The studio also provides movement consultancy and analysis, addressing biomechanics and musculoskeletal concerns through a somatic lens.

The studio is led by Sally Mantle, who holds RSME and RSMT credentials with the International Somatic Movement Education & Therapy Association (ISMETA).
