About The Beachside Clinic
The Beachside Clinic offers a comprehensive range of physical health and rehabilitation services, combining physiotherapy, massage therapy, acupuncture, and fitness support under one roof.
Physiotherapy forms the core of the clinic's offering. Initial assessments last approximately an hour and are conducted using the Integrated Systems Model (Lee & Lee), a unique approach to wellbeing and fitness that focuses on enhancing performance rather than pain alone. The clinic is recognised by the Pelvic Partnership, a national charity supporting women with pelvic girdle pain, and holds membership with The British Medical Acupuncture Society.
Massage services include deep tissue and sports massage, which can be particularly useful after intensive training, endurance events, or in preparation for competition. The clinic also specialises in pregnancy and postnatal care, helping clients prepare their bodies for pregnancy and addressing pain or mobility issues during and after this time. Traditional and western medical acupuncture are available to complement these treatments.
Beyond hands-on therapy, the clinic offers a comprehensive exercise library through Rehab Guru, which includes an optional app to support your recovery at home. The Beachside Clinic is part of the Seafarers Hospital Society's UK-wide physiotherapy network and works alongside Empower Core Programs CIC. Whether you're recovering from injury, managing a specific condition, or seeking to optimise your physical performance, the clinic provides integrated, evidence-based care tailored to your needs.
