About Team Rankine Karate

Team Rankine Karate is a family-friendly martial arts club offering karate classes for children from age 3 through to adults. The club provides instruction across all fundamental karate disciplines, including kihon (basic techniques), kata (forms), and kumite (sparring), helping students develop both physical skill and mental discipline.

The club also offers self-defence classes, teaching the fundamentals of self-defence in a mentally and physically challenging environment. Team Rankine is distinguished by holding World Karate Federation accreditation with two accredited coaches, and complies with English Karate Federation best practice requirements.

Young learners benefit from the Little Rankines curriculum designed for ages 4–7, which educates and develops life skills alongside karate technique. The club has a track record of supporting competitive development, with students having gone on to represent England internationally and achieve success in competitions.
