About Talkthinkact Counselling

Talkthinkact Counselling is a BACP registered practice offering both short and long-term psychotherapeutic counselling to individuals, couples, and young people from teenage years upwards.

The practice works with a person-centred approach, meaning you are in charge of the pace at which you work. This is combined with evidence-based techniques including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy, positive psychology, and mindfulness. Where helpful, practical mindfulness techniques are taught to provide tools for managing stress and anxiety.

Services are available both face-to-face and online via WhatsApp or Teams, making counselling accessible for those who find it difficult to create time for in-person appointments. Couples counselling focuses on moving forward together rather than revisiting past arguments, while adolescent and teen counselling takes place in an informal, welcoming setting.
