About Swinton Judo & Martial Art Centre
Swinton Judo & Martial Art Centre is a British Judo Association member club offering judo classes for all ages and abilities. Young children aged 4 to 8 learn through fun and games, while juniors and teenagers aged 8 to 16 train to develop their skills progressively. Adult classes welcome both brand new judoka and experienced practitioners, creating an inclusive environment for everyone. The centre supports all new beginners through their first few lessons with one-to-one and small group coaching, ensuring a confident start to training.
Beyond judo, the centre offers reformer pilates and access to a climbing and bouldering centre, providing diverse fitness and movement options. Active Release Technique (ART) therapy is also available for those seeking physical recovery and injury management support.
The dojo is available for hire for judo community events, making it a resource for the wider martial arts community.
