About Sue Hannay
Sue Hannay is an experienced relationship and marriage guidance counsellor with an MA in Relationship Therapy, registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). She has worked with hundreds of couples, families, individuals and young people, bringing depth and understanding to a wide range of relationship-based concerns.
Sue offers couples counselling to help partners navigate challenges and strengthen their connection. She also works with families of all ages and types—including parents, young children and teenagers—using family and systemic therapy approaches. For individuals exploring relationship-based issues, she provides general counselling sessions tailored to personal circumstances.
She draws on several therapeutic models to support her clients. Psychodynamic therapy helps explore your internal world of behaviours, feelings and emotions, while solution-focused brief therapy works collaboratively with you to identify and move towards your goals.
Recognising that life circumstances vary, Sue offers flexible delivery options: face-to-face, online and telephone counselling, making support accessible however suits you best.
Whether you're seeking to understand relationship patterns, resolve family dynamics, or work through personal concerns with professional guidance, Sue provides compassionate, evidence-based counselling for clients of all ages.
