About Star Dance Academy
Star Dance Academy offers a vibrant range of dance classes across multiple styles, including Mini Jazz, Lyrical Ballet, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, and Acro. The academy is led by teachers with ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) DDI teaching qualifications in Ballet and Modern, ensuring high standards of instruction.
Beyond group classes, Star Dance Academy provides private lessons in all dance styles and acro, with a focus on technique, stretch and flexibility. The academy also offers private singing lessons and group singing sessions, broadening the creative experience for students of all ages.
Star Dance Academy supports students working towards graded examinations with the I-PATH Exam Board, combining structured learning with performance opportunities. What dance styles do you offer?
We offer a range of dance classes including Mini Jazz Dance, Lyrical Ballet, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, and Acro Classes. Private lessons are also available in all dance styles, as well as technique, stretch and flexibility training.
Do you offer private lessons?
Yes, private lessons are available in all dance styles and acro, covering technique, stretch and flexibility. We also offer private singing lessons with Thom on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
What are your dress code requirements?
Hair must be tied up neatly for all classes, and no jewellery is permitted. This applies to all dance, acro and drama classes.
Do you offer group singing classes?
Yes, we offer group singing for ages 6 and above on alternating Thursdays from 4-5pm for £5 per session. Please contact us for more information about availability.
What qualifications do your instructors have?
Our team holds ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) DDI teaching qualifications in Ballet and Modern.
