Stamford Ear Syringing provides safe, gentle ear wax removal using microsuction and ear irrigation techniques, carried out by fully trained Registered Nurses. The service is available across Ryhall, Stamford, Oakham and surrounding villages.
Ear wax is a normal part of ear health, but when it builds up it can cause discomfort and hearing difficulties. Before your appointment, a health check is completed to ensure irrigation is suitable for your individual circumstances. Aftercare advice is provided to support your recovery, including keeping your ears dry for a few days following treatment.

Who carries out the ear wax removal treatment?
Your treatment is carried out by Anita, a fully trained Registered Nurse with over 35 years' experience in the NHS and private sector. She is fully DBS checked and compliant with safeguarding.

What treatments do you offer?
We offer two main services: Ear Wax Removal using Microsuction and Ear Irrigation. During your appointment, a health check will be completed as some conditions are not suitable for irrigation.
Is there anything I should do before my appointment?
We recommend using Earol Olive Oil spray before your appointment, as this makes the process easier and can be obtained from high street chemists or online retailers like Amazon.
What should I do after my ear irrigation treatment?
Keep your ears dry for a few days following treatment, especially when bathing and swimming, as this will help minimise any discomfort.
