About South Sefton Ju-Jitsu Kobudo Academy
South Sefton Ju-Jitsu Kobudo Academy offers martial arts training for children and adults across multiple disciplines. Kids aged 4–13 can learn ju-jitsu, which introduces more physical activity alongside self-defence skills, while adults from 13 onwards train in the same art to improve fitness and develop practical techniques for de-escalation and personal protection. The academy also teaches kobudo, a traditional Okinawan weapons-based martial art, available for children from age 5 and adults from 13 upwards. Nunchaku training is offered as a separate class, reflecting the academy's depth of expertise in this discipline. The academy is committed to making martial arts accessible to everyone, regardless of background or ability, and is a member of a child protection scheme. Whether you're looking to build fitness, learn self-defence, or explore traditional martial arts, South Sefton Ju-Jitsu Kobudo Academy provides structured training for all ages and experience levels.
