About Sophie Melzack Psychotherapy
Sophie Melzack Psychotherapy offers psychodynamic and attachment-based psychotherapy for individual adults. Sophie is an attachment-based psychoanalytic psychotherapist who completed a four-year training in attachment-based psychoanalytic psychotherapy, and in April 2025 completed OXPIP's Diploma in Psychodynamic Parent Infant Psychotherapy. She is registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
Sophie uses both psychodynamic and attachment theory to guide her work with clients. She works with individual adults on a weekly or twice-weekly basis, and also offers online video sessions via Zoom or Skype for added flexibility.
With experience across a range of presenting issues, Sophie provides a space for self-discovery and exploration, helping clients understand the origins of their difficulties and move towards meaningful change.
