About Sarah Wardell
Sarah Wardell is an accredited counsellor and psychotherapist offering one-to-one professional support for a range of emotional and psychological concerns. She holds BACP accreditation (achieved 2023) and is trained in Adlerian counselling and psychotherapy, bringing depth and flexibility to her work.
Sarah specialises in anxiety and depression therapy, helping clients navigate these common but challenging experiences. She also has particular expertise in bereavement and end-of-life support, having worked within bereavement and palliative care settings. For those dealing with trauma or abuse, she offers EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), a evidence-based approach that utilises the natural healing ability of your body. She completed her EMDR Academy training in March 2025.
In addition to her counselling practice, Sarah works as an End of Life Doula, supporting both individuals and those important to them as they plan for end-of-life care and navigate anticipatory grief.
