About Sarah Smith Psychotherapy
Sarah Smith Psychotherapy offers individual counselling, couples work, and family therapy grounded in systemic and dance movement approaches. As a Family and Systemic Psychotherapist registered with the Association for Family Therapy (AFT UK), and a Registered Dance Movement Psychotherapist with the Association for Dance Movement Psychotherapy (ADMP UK), Sarah brings dual expertise to her practice. She is also a full clinical member of the UKCP.
Sarah works with individuals, couples, and families using systemic psychotherapy and dance movement psychotherapy. Her experience includes working as a systemic psychotherapist within an NHS eating disorder service, where she offers family therapy to support people navigating complex relational and health challenges. Dance movement therapy sessions integrate creative, embodied approaches alongside talk-based work, offering clients an alternative or complementary way to explore and process their experiences.
Beyond direct client work, Sarah provides individual and group clinical supervision for other practitioners, and offers systemic consultation and reflective practice support for organisational teams.
