About SAIL
SAIL provides trauma-informed counselling and psychotherapy for people who have experienced difficult situations. Working with trained counsellors, SAIL offers one-to-one sessions designed to help you better understand and recover from your experiences.
The service is independent and impartial, centred on your needs, your rights and the options that work best for you. SAIL also runs support groups, including a Men's Support Group and Women's Psychoeducation Group for survivors, alongside a confidential helpline offering initial advice and referrals to other services. Specialised counselling is available for young people aged 14–17 years.
As a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, SAIL is committed to ethical practice. Whether you're seeking individual therapy, peer support, or a first point of contact, SAIL offers accessible, confidential help tailored to your circumstances.
