About Rowena Paxton
Rowena Paxton is a registered nutritional therapist who combines good food, good science and good health to help clients find their equilibrium. Graduated from the Institute for Optimum Nutrition in 1999 and registered with both BANT (British Association for Nutritional Therapy) and CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council), she brings over two decades of experience to her practice.
Rowena offers nutritional therapy initial consultations that assess how your biochemistry is affected by your current nutrition, alongside functional medicine consultations. She has particular expertise in digestive health, metabolic balance, stress-related problems and chronic fatigue. Her approach also extends to supporting those managing autoimmune conditions and helping to boost immune system resilience.
Beyond one-to-one consultations, Rowena has developed recipes for four published books with The Food Doctor and has led nutritional wellbeing weekends for Neal's Yard Remedies, bringing her evidence-based approach to wider audiences. She completed formal training in Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice in 2015, deepening her ability to work with complex health presentations.
Whether you're looking to reset your metabolic balance and blood sugars, address stress-related health concerns, or support your body's natural resilience, Rowena offers a personalised, science-informed approach to nutritional wellbeing.
