Roberta Richmond is an experienced therapist with almost 20 years of practice providing therapy to individuals and couples. She is accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), registered with the United Kingdom Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (UKRCP), and accredited by the College of Sex and Relationship Therapists (COSRT) as both a sex therapist and relationship therapist.

Roberta offers a comprehensive range of therapeutic approaches tailored to different needs. Her couples and relationship work includes Gottman Method couples therapy, affair recovery counselling, and general couples counselling. For individuals, she provides general counselling sessions, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and life coaching, often integrating a coaching approach when beneficial.

She has developed particular expertise in several specialist areas. As a trauma counsellor, she helps clients process difficult experiences using evidence-based methods including EMDR therapy and sensorimotor psychotherapy, both of which she has completed formal training in. She is also a specialist in bereavement and loss, having trained with CRUSE Bereavement Care, and offers dedicated bereavement counselling to those navigating grief.

In the area of sexual health and intimacy, Roberta provides sex therapy (individual sessions) and psychosexual therapy, which addresses the psychological and emotional causes of sexual difficulties. She has undertaken specialist training in sex addiction therapy and can offer support to individuals, partners, and couples affected by sexual compulsivity.
