Richard Carroll Counselling, Psychotherapy & Supervision offers integrative counselling and psychotherapy to adults, couples, children and young people. As a BACP Senior Accredited Supervisor, Richard draws upon a broad spectrum of therapeutic theories and approaches to tailor support to your needs.
With over 20 years of experience working with adults, Richard has developed particular expertise in supporting couples and relationships. He has also worked as a counsellor with children from age 4 and young people throughout his career, and brings experience as a play therapist in educational settings. Richard is a qualified and experienced online counsellor, offering sessions via webcam, instant messaging and email alongside face-to-face work.
Richard's integrative approach means he may draw on techniques and theories from cognitive behavioural therapy, transactional analysis, emotionally focused therapy (EFT) and other modalities depending on what will be most helpful for you. He is also a sexuality and gender specialist counsellor, having worked with these themes for many years.
In addition to individual and couples counselling, Richard provides clinical supervision. He holds a Level 6 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling Supervision and works with other practitioners seeking professional support and development.
