About Recovery Coaching & Sober Companioning
Recovery Coaching & Sober Companioning offers specialist support for people navigating addiction recovery and eating disorder treatment. Founded by Dr Cosmo Duff Gordon, an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, the service has been providing outpatient addiction treatment since 2010, helping those with alcohol, substance, and behavioural difficulties.
The team delivers recovery coaching alongside individual and group therapy, with each client assigned their own counsellor for weekly one-to-one sessions. General counselling is available to support your journey, complemented by a range of structured programmes designed around your circumstances. These include evening programmes that allow you to continue working or managing home life while in recovery, and daycare options for more intensive daytime support.
For those requiring residential care, the service offers a through-the-line process encompassing secondary and tertiary residential treatment, along with sober living accommodation to support your transition back to independent life. Specialist eating disorder treatment is also available, combining individual therapy with practical support such as daily food plan oversight and meal planning guidance.
