About Rachel Cooke Counselling
Rachel Cooke Counselling offers compassionate, professional counselling and psychotherapy for a wide range of emotional and psychological concerns. As a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP), Rachel provides evidence-based support tailored to your individual needs.
Services include general counselling sessions and specialist support for anxiety, depression, stress, anger management, and bereavement. Rachel also works with ADHD-affirming therapy and ADHD coaching, and offers specialist expertise in trauma and PTSD, childhood sexual abuse, relationship difficulties, and grief and loss.
Counselling is available through three convenient delivery modes. Face-to-face counselling has been shown to be highly effective and provides a dedicated therapeutic space. Online counselling via Zoom offers flexibility for those who prefer to access therapy from home and fit sessions around their lifestyle. Telephone counselling is also available for those who find it helps them focus or who face barriers to attending in person.
Rachel draws on several therapeutic approaches, including Internal Family Systems (IFS) for complex trauma, Transactional Analysis, and a range of evidence-based methods. She brings additional training in understanding autism and ADHD, domestic abuse awareness, and suicide awareness to her practice.
