About Petra Elliott

Petra Elliott offers a range of therapeutic bodywork and mental health support, combining traditional techniques with specialised training in trauma work. She is a Member of the Register of Shiatsu Society (MRSS) since 2003 and a Fellow of the Shiatsu Society (FwSS) from 2019, regulated by the Codes of Ethics of both the Shiatsu Society and Shiatsu International. She is also regulated by the Codes of Ethics of The Craniosacral Therapy Association.

Her core services include Shiatsu Massage, a Japanese system of bodywork used for centuries to aid relief, and Craniosacral Therapy, a gentle, non-invasive approach using light touch. She specialises in Shiatsu Shintai, a style designed to free up life-force energy, and offers advanced techniques including Central Channel Release (CCR). Petra has trained in working with trauma and post-dental work, including cases involving orthodontics, making her particularly suited to supporting clients navigating these experiences. She also works with couples and relationship dynamics as part of her trauma and couples therapy offering.

As one of only four teachers in the UK trained to deliver Saul Goodman's Shiatsu ShinTai programme, and as a Louise Hay Heal Your Life workshop leader and Sedona Method Facilitator, Petra brings depth and breadth to her practice. She offers flexibility in how clients access her support: distant treatments are available and she regularly works with clients in the South East, with occasional mobile treatments also possible.
