About Nintai Dojo
Nintai Dojo is a Kyokushin karate dojo offering classes for both children and adults. As a member of the British Kyokushinkai Karate Association and the International Federation of Karate, the dojo provides authentic training in this traditional martial art founded in 1960.
Classes cover the core disciplines of Kyokushin training. Students learn kihon, the fundamental moves and stances that form the foundation of the practice, alongside kata—ordered sequences of movements performed with precision. Kumite, the one-on-one fighting central to Kyokushin, develops practical application and sparring skills. Training also incorporates bag work to build power and technique.
Progression is marked through regular gradings held every three to six months, allowing students to advance through the belt system at their own pace. Classes run on Tuesday and Sunday, with separate sessions tailored for children and adults, creating a welcoming environment for beginners and experienced practitioners alike.
