Neil Philbin is a qualified psychotherapist and addiction counsellor with BSc and MSc qualifications, registered with both the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the Federation of Drug and Alcohol Professionals (FDAP).
Neil offers general counselling and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) sessions, with specialist expertise in addiction support. He provides confidential, informed, non-judgemental and empathic support for those struggling with substance use disorders, alcohol use disorder, gambling addiction, and behavioural addictions including sex, food and gaming addiction. His approach draws on evidence-based methods including cognitive behavioural therapy, person-centred counselling, motivational interviewing and relapse prevention.
