Moira Sykes Physiotherapy is run by Moira Sykes, a fully qualified physiotherapist with over 30 years of experience. She is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (MCSP), the Organisation of Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice (OCPPP), and the Health Professionals Council (HPC).
Moira treats a wide range of conditions and injuries. She specialises in sports injuries, working with footballers, rugby players, tennis players and other athletes. She also helps to alleviate back and neck pain issues, whether new or recurring, as well as knee pain and other musculoskeletal problems.
Her treatment approach combines several therapeutic techniques. These include electrotherapy and therapeutic ultrasound, soft tissue mobilisation and massage, exercise programmes and core stability work, supportive taping and strapping, and traction. She also provides ergonomic advice to help prevent future injury.
