The practice is GOsC registered and staffed by practitioners holding the M.Ost (Hons) qualification from the European School of Osteopathy, with membership of the Institute of Osteopathy.

The core osteopathic approach uses manual therapy and joint mobilisation to address common musculoskeletal concerns including back pain, neck pain, sciatica, and sports injuries. Cranial osteopathy is offered for babies and children, used to support conditions such as colic, feeding difficulties, and flat head syndrome. For adults, the practice also provides western medical acupuncture, dry cupping, and manual lymphatic drainage as complementary techniques.

Materna has particular expertise in women's health. Pregnancy-related care addresses pelvic pain, back pain, and postural strain through safe, hands-on treatment.
