Martyn Harris Karate Academy offers karate classes and self-defence training for all ages and abilities. The academy teaches Kaizenkan Karate, a synthesis drawing on over 30 years of experience, alongside Shotokan Karate and Okinawan Kempo. Martyn Harris holds black belts in both Shotokan Karate and Okinawan Kempo and serves as president of the Welsh Martial Arts Association.

Classes are structured by age group. Junior Dragons Classes for ages 7–10 focus on discipline, respect, and positive attitude, helping children develop effective self-defence skills in a supportive environment. Classes for ages 11 and above welcome teens and adults to train with friendly people in a welcoming community. Saturday morning sessions are popular with families looking to bond while training together. The academy also runs after-school clubs, making karate accessible alongside school schedules.
