About Martin Kelly Counselling
Martin Kelly Counselling offers professional counselling and spiritual direction to individuals seeking support with a range of life challenges. As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), Martin Kelly brings a well-established therapeutic approach grounded in Psychosynthesis, a respected form of therapy that he trained in on a BACP accredited course. He is also trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy tools and techniques, allowing him to draw on multiple evidence-based methods tailored to your needs.
Martin works with anxiety, helping clients understand and manage worry and stress. He also specialises in exploring deeper questions around identity, meaning and purpose—areas that can feel difficult to address but are vital to wellbeing. His practice includes support for existential and spiritual concerns, helping you discern where meaning, purpose and value sit in your life. He also offers Christian Spiritual Direction, a related but distinct discipline that explicitly concentrates on discerning where God is working in your life.
Martin's approach recognises that sexuality and gender are life-giving dimensions of our humanity, and he works sensitively with clients exploring questions of sexual and gender identity. He is a lay member of the LGBT+ Chaplaincy for the Catholic Diocese of Westminster, bringing both professional training and lived commitment to this work.
Counselling is offered on an individual basis. Whether you are navigating anxiety, exploring your identity, seeking spiritual direction, or working through existential questions, Martin Kelly Counselling provides a thoughtful, grounded space for personal growth and clarity.
