About Lucy Matthews Therapy
Lucy Matthews Therapy offers counselling and psychotherapy for a wide range of emotional and psychological concerns. With core training in psychodynamic and psychoanalytic theory, Lucy works collaboratively with clients to help them gain a deeper understanding of themselves. She has also completed Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) training and integrates these skills into her practice.
Lucy provides general counselling sessions alongside specialist support for anxiety, bereavement, anger management, and attachment-related issues. She has particular experience working with trauma, low self-esteem, stress, and panic attacks. With over 10 years' experience of working with cancer patients and their families, she brings compassionate, informed support to those navigating complex life challenges.
As a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), Lucy is committed to professional standards and ethical practice. She works with clients across many different areas, tailoring her approach to individual needs and circumstances.
