About Liz Hancock
Liz Hancock is a BACP-accredited counsellor and registered psychotherapist with over 13 years of experience working with relationships, supporting both couples and individuals. She holds a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and is a Certified Relate counsellor, bringing a range of evidence-based approaches to her practice.
Liz offers general counselling and couples counselling tailored to your needs. She is also trained in several complementary therapeutic techniques, including hypnotherapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), an energy therapy approach. For those managing stress-related conditions, she is trained with the Stress Illness Recovery Practitioners Association (SIRPA) and offers structured treatment programmes typically lasting around six weeks.
Having gained a coaching diploma with the Coaching Academy, Liz also helps clients achieve personal and professional goals through a coaching approach, combining therapeutic insight with forward-focused support.
