About Lisa Hepburn
Lisa Hepburn is a fully qualified psychotherapist and counsellor, registered with the National Counselling Society and the National Hypnotherapist Society. She specialises in child and adolescent therapy, including play therapy, and brings integrated expertise in both counselling and hypnotherapy to her practice.
Lisa works with a broad range of concerns across all ages. For children and young people, she offers support tailored to their developmental needs, including work with self-harm issues and support for children in special guardianships and local authority care. Her adolescent and teen counselling helps young people navigate the challenges specific to their stage of life.
For adults, Lisa provides general counselling sessions and specialised therapy for anxiety (including generalised anxiety and panic disorder), depression (including postnatal depression and seasonal affective disorder), bereavement, anger management, and relationship difficulties. She also offers couples counselling for those working through relationship issues, separation, or divorce.
Hypnotherapy is integrated into her approach where appropriate, offering clients an additional therapeutic tool for addressing their concerns.
