About Lee Martin
Lee Martin is a Senior Accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist, registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), the National Counselling Society (NCS), and accredited in EMDR therapy through EMDR Europe and Ireland.
Lee offers counselling and psychotherapy for adults and adolescents, working with a range of presenting issues. Specialist areas include trauma work, anxiety, depression, addiction, and relationship difficulties. Lee is trained in trauma-informed practice and brings particular expertise to supporting clients through abuse, sexual abuse, and complex trauma.
Lee's therapeutic approach is flexible and integrative. The therapy offered can take many forms, including the use of art, music, and drama therapy alongside meditation techniques. For trauma specifically, Lee offers EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), recognised by NICE as an effective treatment for trauma. Couples counselling is available for those working through relationship issues, and bereavement counselling is offered to support clients through grief and loss.
Beyond one-to-one work, Lee provides meditation group classes and offers clinical supervision to other practitioners on a face-to-face or online basis.
