About Katy Swoboda

Katy Swoboda is a UKCP and BACP-registered Gestalt psychotherapist offering individual counselling, group therapy, and online sessions across the UK. Her practice centres on working with the whole of you, using an integrative and relational approach to support lasting change.

Katy specialises in depression, anxiety, and relational trauma. She holds a certificate in Janina Fisher's Certified Clinical Trauma Training and brings parts work into her therapeutic practice, drawing on a range of evidence-based models. Her training also includes Developmental Somatic Psychotherapy and Grief Tending in Community, allowing her to weave together breathing exercises, mindfulness, and gentle movement where appropriate to your needs.

Services include individual Gestalt therapy and general counselling sessions, Internal Family Systems (IFS) work for exploring and integrating different parts of yourself, and group therapy options. She runs a nine-week online group designed to help you navigate life's ups and downs, and also facilitates a Creative Project Accountability Group for those with ideas or projects they wish to bring forward.

Katy works both online with people throughout the UK and face-to-face, making therapy accessible whether you prefer the flexibility of remote sessions or the presence of in-person work. Her integrative style means each session is tailored to you, combining psychological insight with somatic awareness to support genuine, embodied change.
