Kathryn Dombrowicz Psychotherapy offers a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches for adults and older adolescents. As an accredited psychotherapist and counsellor with over 20 years' experience in professional practice, Kathryn is registered with the UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy).
Psychotherapy is a process in which emotional challenges, thoughts, moods and patterns of behaviour are explored together. Kathryn provides individual counselling sessions tailored to your needs, alongside specialised trauma-focused work using EMDR therapy, which works by replicating the period of rapid eye movement we experience when processing events and emotions.
Cognitive Hypnotherapy is offered as an evidence-based approach that uses trance to induce a deep state of heightened relaxation, while Internal Family Systems (IFS) and IFS Coaching draw on an evidence-based model to help you understand and work with your internal experience. Family and Systemic Therapy is also available, recognising the importance of wider relationships in recovery and wellbeing.
Kathryn specialises in treating eating disorders, addictions, compulsive behaviour and traumatic stress, with extensive experience supporting those managing anxiety and depression.
