About Kate Smalldon
Kate Smalldon is a qualified, BACP registered integrative counsellor and psychotherapist with 9 years of counselling experience. She offers a range of therapeutic services tailored to support clients through life's challenges.
Kate provides general counselling sessions, couples counselling (for which she holds a Certificate in Relational Couples Counselling), and specialised bereavement counselling. She also works with anxiety, depression, low mood, and postnatal depression. Her practice is informed by trauma-informed approaches, drawing on training in trauma-informed practice and how trauma affects the body.
Beyond one-to-one work, Kate has experience supporting students with their mental health as a Specialist Mentor and Mental Health Adviser, bringing additional insight into the pressures young people face.
Whether you're navigating relationship difficulties, processing loss, managing anxiety, or seeking support during a difficult period, Kate offers a compassionate, evidence-based approach to help you move forward.
