About Kate Dyer Counselling
Kate Dyer Counselling offers integrative-relational counselling and psychotherapy, combining humanistic and psychodynamic perspectives to support your wellbeing. As an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP), Kate provides a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to your needs.
Counselling sessions are 50 minutes and typically take place at the same time each week, creating a consistent space for reflection and growth. Kate offers flexible delivery options: sessions can take place online, allowing you to access therapy from the comfort of your own home, or in agreed outdoor spaces through ecotherapy and walk-and-talk counselling, which combines the benefits of traditional therapy with the therapeutic effects of nature.
Kate also specialises in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), a evidence-based approach that works on the understanding that when we experience difficulties or trauma, we store these experiences in our memory. EMDR helps process and integrate these memories in a supportive way.
Whether you're navigating life challenges, processing past experiences, or seeking personal development, Kate Dyer Counselling provides a compassionate, professional space to explore what matters to you.
