About Karate & Self Defence Club
Karate & Self Defence Club offers traditional martial arts training for all ages and abilities. The core training is Shotokan Karate as the foundation, with classes tailored for children aged 6–12, teenagers aged 12–16, and adults. Each age group benefits from instruction designed around their developmental stage and fitness goals.
Beyond Shotokan, the club provides a range of complementary martial arts and combat disciplines. Members can explore self-defence techniques, boxing, judo, and other martial arts systems integrated into the curriculum. This multi-disciplinary approach means whether you're seeking traditional karate practice, competitive training, self-defence skills, or general fitness, there's a pathway suited to your interests.
The club is grounded in established martial arts credentials, with instruction informed by experienced practitioners. Training emphasises technique, discipline, and personal development across all levels.
Whether you're looking to start a new skill, improve your fitness, build confidence, or learn practical self-defence, Karate & Self Defence Club welcomes newcomers and experienced practitioners alike.
