About Julie Nathanson Counselling & Psychotherapy
Julie Nathanson Counselling & Psychotherapy is a UKCP accredited psychotherapy and counselling practice. Julie is a fully qualified psychotherapist and BACP registered member who works within a Gestalt approach to psychotherapy, helping anybody experiencing mental health issues or mental distress.
Services include general counselling sessions, anxiety therapy, depression therapy, and trauma therapy. Julie also offers neurodivergent-affirming therapy, recognising and fully embracing the needs of neurodivergent clients, alongside ADHD coaching and support. She has specialist experience in bereavement counselling, having worked for two years at Kingston Bereavement Service, and offers support for those navigating pregnancy loss and postnatal transitions.
In her therapeutic work, Julie may incorporate creative approaches through craft materials and movement-based exploration when appropriate, tailoring her methods to what will best support each client. She offers both face-to-face and online sessions, making therapy accessible in the way that works best for you.
