About John Fletcher
John Fletcher is an experienced, qualified counsellor and psychotherapist with 25 years of practice. He is an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
John offers general counselling sessions and works with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, and anger. He provides couples counselling and family and systemic therapy, supporting adults, adolescents, children, families and couples from all backgrounds, lifestyles and cultural heritages.
He has particular expertise in supporting people who have experienced abuse, especially in childhood, and those affected by domestic violence. His experience also includes specialist work in bereavement support, and he has counselled in a women's prison and with children and young people with disabilities.
John has seen many clients referred by their GP for emotional and relational difficulties. He offers sessions both in person and via Zoom, making his support accessible to those who prefer remote therapy.
