About Jo Davies
Jo Davies is a qualified counsellor offering therapeutic support to adults working through a range of emotional and psychological challenges. She is accredited with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
Jo specialises in anxiety, stress, and depression counselling, helping clients develop coping strategies and work towards lasting change. She also offers bereavement counselling for those navigating loss and grief, and provides specialist trauma-focused work including PTSD treatment using evidence-based interventions such as the Rewind Technique, for which she is an accredited practitioner. Her trauma work also encompasses support for difficult and traumatic childhood experiences using imagery rescripting.
Beyond these core areas, Jo works with adopted adults, drawing on dedicated training in this specialism, and supports neurodivergent clients. She brings additional therapeutic frameworks to her practice, including transactional analysis and schema therapy, enabling her to tailor her approach to each person's needs.
Jo offers general counselling sessions as well as focused therapeutic work on specific issues. Whether you're facing a particular life challenge or seeking ongoing support for your mental health, she provides a confidential, professional space to explore your concerns and move forward.
