About Jen Counselling & Psychotherapy
Jen Counselling & Psychotherapy offers short and long term counselling and relational psychotherapy to support you through life's challenges. Jen is a qualified counsellor (MNCPS) and trainee psychotherapist (UKATA), bringing a warm, person-centred approach to her work.
Sessions are available in-person, online, or outdoors in nature. For those interested, creative ecotherapy practices can be woven into outdoor sessions, allowing you to explore your feelings in a natural setting.
Jen specialises in anxiety, depression, and trauma-informed work. She has particular expertise in eco-anxiety and climate-related emotional difficulties, running regular support groups in the Brighton and Lewes area. Her training also includes grief support through Cruse and St. Joseph's Hospice, and addiction harm reduction work. She has a growing interest in perinatal counselling and psychotherapy, supporting individuals with current and historic experiences around pregnancy, birth, and parenthood.
With a personal commitment to plant-based living since 2007, Jen brings authentic understanding to clients exploring vegan-related concerns. She works with children, young people, and adults, and currently provides low-cost adult online counselling through The Bower Tree.
Whether you're navigating anxiety, grief, life transitions, or simply seeking space to be heard and understood, Jen offers a non-judgmental, supportive environment tailored to your needs.
