We practice Dynamic Shotokan Karate from the Japan Karate Association (JKA), which is the largest karate association in the world and the only legal entity recognised by the Japanese government promoting traditional karate.
When and where are your classes held?
We hold Beginners Classes at our Old Street Dojo on Mondays and Thursdays at 6.30pm.
What qualifications do your instructors have?
Our instructors are JKA certified and hold JKAWF (JKA World Federation) certification as Instructors, Examiners and Judges, and are also DBS certified (Disclosure & Barring Service).
Is this suitable for beginners?
Yes, we offer dedicated Beginners Classes, so you can start your karate training with others at the same level.
