About Janette Welsh Psychotherapy
Janette Welsh Psychotherapy offers integrative and trauma-informed psychotherapy for adults, couples, and children. As a UKCP and BACP registered psychotherapist, Janette provides short, medium, and long-term individual counselling tailored to your needs.
Specialist approaches include EMDR therapy, an evidence-based treatment recommended by NICE for trauma, and integrative counselling based on a relational and developmental model. Janette works collaboratively with couples to deepen understanding and enhance communication, and offers counselling for children under 12.
Janette has particular experience supporting clients with anxiety, depression, stress, and relationship challenges. She also works with clients exploring neurodivergence, including ADHD and autism, and has a special interest in supporting individuals before and after major surgery. Her trauma-informed approach means she is equipped to help with a broad range of emotional and psychological concerns.
Sessions are available face-to-face or remotely via Zoom or telephone, making therapy accessible to suit your circumstances. Whether you're navigating life transitions, processing difficult experiences, or seeking to strengthen your relationships, Janette offers a collaborative, evidence-based space for meaningful change and growth.
