Jane Rushton is an experienced, qualified, and registered psychotherapist offering reliable, non-judgemental, and confidential support for individuals and couples. Holding an MA and Diploma in Psychotherapy, she is registered with the UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy) and holds memberships with the Institute of Psychotherapy and Social Studies, the Institute of Group Analysis, and serves on the Ethics Committee of the Council for Psychoanalysis and Jungian Analysis.
Jane provides general counselling sessions and specialises in working with a broad range of emotional difficulties, including anxiety, depression, stress, and bereavement. She also offers couples counselling for those experiencing relationship challenges with partners, family members, or colleagues, as well as support for childhood trauma. Her psychoanalytic approach aims to reach the underlying, often unconscious causes of distress, helping clients develop deeper understanding and lasting change.
Sessions are available face-to-face, online, and by telephone, making support accessible in the way that works best for you.
