About Jane Higgins Consultant Clinical Psychologist
Jane Higgins is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist registered with the HCPC (Practitioner Clinical and Forensic Psychologist, PYL 33127) and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. She specialises in the assessment of ADHD in young people and adults, providing comprehensive psychological therapy and assessment services.
Her assessment expertise spans neurodevelopmental conditions, including ADHD and autism spectrum disorder, using gold-standard diagnostic tools such as ADOS-2 and ADI-R assessments. Beyond diagnostic work, she offers personality assessment and cognitive assessment with IQ testing to support a full understanding of individual psychological profiles. Jane also provides clinical psychology therapy and family and systemic therapy, tailoring her approach to each client's needs.
In addition to direct client work, Jane is registered on the BPS Register of Applied Psychology Practice Supervisors, offering clinical supervision to other qualified psychologists. She is also listed on the National Register of University Certified Expert Witnesses and holds a Cardiff Bond Solon (CUBS) Witness Family certificate (2023), enabling her to provide expert psychological opinion to civil and family courts when required.
