About JANE CHILVERS Therapeutic Counsellor
JANE CHILVERS is an experienced, accredited therapeutic counsellor registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). She aims to help people clarify, explore and manage their concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship and family issues, and existential crises.
Jane works with an integrative approach, drawing on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), and other therapeutic theories tailored to each client's individual needs. This flexible methodology has helped people working through depression, trauma, addictions, low self-esteem and bereavement.
Services include general counselling sessions, couples counselling for relationship difficulties, and family and systemic therapy to address dynamics within families. Jane also offers bereavement counselling for those navigating loss, and has recently become an ADHD certified clinical services provider (ADHD-CCSP), bringing specialist support to those managing ADHD.
With a background in the arts as a professional portrait photographer and sculptor, Jane brings a relational sensitivity to her work—understanding the importance of developing genuine connection with clients.
