About Jackie Reiter
Jackie Reiter is an experienced psychotherapist and counsellor registered and accredited with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). With over 20 years of professional experience across the NHS, charitable and corporate sectors, she brings deep expertise to her practice.
Jackie offers general counselling and psychotherapy for a range of concerns, including low mood, anxiety, relationship difficulties and bereavement. She provides couples counselling for those navigating relationship challenges, and specialised bereavement counselling for those grieving loss. Her approach is flexible and tailored: sessions are available in person, online or by phone, and she also offers walk and talk therapy, where you work together in peaceful outdoor surroundings such as a park.
Within her sessions, Jackie draws on mindfulness and focusing techniques to help you access the wisdom of your body and breath alongside verbal exploration. She holds additional specialist training in bereavement, mindfulness, addictions, neuroscience, counselling teenagers, parenting skills, post-traumatic stress, attachment and dementia—giving her the breadth to support clients through many life challenges.
